The Federal Skilled Worker program has been reopened for a very short time, and will close again on December 31st, 2014. If you have worked for at least one year in the past 10 years in one of the 50 occupations below, we will be interested in hearing from you and helping you through this complex immigration application process.

Only 25,000 applications will be accepted up until December 31, 2014, and only the first 1,000 in each occupation will be processed. On January 1, 2015, a new process called Express Entry will be launched, with new criteria that has not been fully released as yet. Those who qualify now may not qualify in future.

The selection criteria for this category is based on a combination of age, education, work experience, language skills in English and or French, and several adaptability factors like having previous work, study or relatives in Canada, or having a job offer from a Canadian employer.

Applicants who are seriously interested in this category must be willing to have their English language proficiency tested and their Educational credentials assessed for Canadian equivalency with an approved organization. We provide full direction in these and all other processes for our retained clients.
